Recently, six ministries including the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued a notice requiring the acceleration of ultra-low emission transformation of steel enterprises in key areas for air pollution prevention and control, such as the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region and surrounding areas, the Yangtze River Delta region, and the Fenwei Plain, and the development of electric furnace steel technology.

At present, various regions in China have also clearly defined the time nodes for completing the ultra-low emission transformation of steel and implementing emission limits.
